Dear Friends,
Last night they appeared on my
television screen-the words, " Heaven or Not?"
I was curious, so I went online
to "Heaven or Not.net" to discover the message being offered. It
was a short presentation of the gospel.
As one who has used tracts over the
years to share the gospel, I never underestimate the value of different
communication methods in sharing the Good News.
Unfortunately, there are many
believers today who have friends or family members who do not know the way to
heaven. They do not now that the Bible is clear that one can be absolutely
certain regarding their eternal state.
Tucked away in the last chapter of 1
John are three of the most significant salvation verses in the Bible. They are
so important to me that long ago I memorized them, so I could use them in
sharing the Gospel with others.
These verses make it clear that it
is possible for anyone to know if he or she is going to heaven.
The Apostle John tells us,
"This is the testimony that God has given us eternal life, and this life
is in his Son. He who has the Son, has life, and he who does not have the Son
of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe
in the name of the Son of God. so that you may know that you have
eternal life" (1 John 5:10-13).
Yes, the Bible is clear that you can
know if you are going to heaven.
If you personally do not possess the
assurance of heaven or you know of a friend or family member who doesn't
possess it, I encourage you to check out the information below.
Please feel free to forward the
information below to that friend or family member may not know Jesus or who may
know Him but still lacks the assurance they are going to heaven.
As John has said, "You can
know if you are going to heaven, so make sure you know how."

HEAVEN OR NOT
For you to know for sure when you die...if you
are going to heaven
or not...this is what you need to understand.
God is, and He is the Creator of
everything, including all
mankind.
Many scientists today
acknowledge that “everything”
began all at once...with the “Big Bang”! And
that is what the
Bible says.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the
earth.”
Many
historians, as discoveries over time have increased, now believe the Bible to be the
most reliable source of early world history. It is God’s truth to
inform and instruct all people concerning
life.
It teaches that everything
is His...and everything includes heaven.
Heaven is God’s home. It
is His...and He is perfect...and heaven is perfect. There
is only God’s
goodness and His
pure love.
That makes it a problem
for us...because we
sin. It is our
heritage. We are born with it.
“For all have sinned and fall short
of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no,
not one.”
Romans 3:10
Sin is any thought or action contrary to
the goodness of God.
That is the bad
news...but...here
is the good news!
“For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have eternal
life.”
John 3:16
Being accepted by God and allowed into heaven...is not of your good works...or
whatever your definition of good
behavior might be. You can’t get to heaven...on your own.
It’s a free gift...because
of God’s love for us!
“For the wages of sin is death, but
the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23
God’s gift of eternal life...is only fulfilled when
it is received. Therefore, if you want to know for sure...that you’re going to heaven...you have to
receive God’s gift of forgiveness and acceptance.”
“But to all who did receive
Him, who believed in His name, HE gave the right to
become children of God.”
John 1:12
12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does
not have the Son of God does not have life.13 I write
these things to you who believe in the name
of the Son of God, that you may know that you have
eternal life.
1 John 5:12-13
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the
resurrection and the life; he who believes
in Me will live even if he dies, 26 and everyone who
lives and believes in Me will never
die. Do you believe this?”

If heaven is
the desire of
your heart...and the following prayer expresses your decision...pray now and receive
CHRIST!
Dear God...I know I have sinned against you.
Please forgive me.
I receive Jesus...your only Son...right now as Savior of my
life...having died to pay for my sins.
Thank you for forgiving my sins...and for my new life.
I pray this prayer in Jesus’ holy name, Amen!

God will keep His word...forgive your sins...give you eternal
life...and confirm
your place in heaven!
